During the first four years, the school was set up and has mainly operated thanks to the financial support of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Auteuil International, but also thanks to the Guide du Routard, the Mornay Group, the Daniel Brottier Hotel School in Nantes, "France Volontaires", the “Guilde Européenne du Raid", and private donors.

Friends of Sala Bai, Australia was formed in 2005 by three business men with interests in hotels and education. Since then the organization has raised funds and support Sala Bai Hotel and Restaurant School through its growing network. In August 2013, The Chanel Foundation has renewed its support to Sala Baï School by taking care of the training of 15 female students of the 12th intake (2013-2014). It already supported 25 female students in 2012-2013.
