On 29 November, the Friends of Sala Baï in Australia (FOSBA) held their annual charity dinner and traditional auction of wines and luxury goods. Over 140 guests came together to lend their support to the Sala Baï expansion project. Thanks to their commitment, the event raised enough funds to finance the training of 19 of the 150 students who will enter the school in September 2018.
This event also presented the opportunity to launch the magnificent book produced by the Australian volunteers: Cambodian Journeys (photography by Rod Andrewartha and words by H Morgan-Harris). Richly illustrated with photos of Cambodia, it follows the stories of Sala Baï students, from training days to their new lives and will help to finance student training. The book can be ordered via the internet in Australia, France and soon in Cambodia, directly from Sala Baï.
